Dillon Jennings
Dillon Jennings is the proud son of Ms. Keshia Jennings and Mr. Courtney Jefferson. He is also the honorable grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Don and Sandra Jennings, Ms. Idella Jefferson, and Mr. George Jones. His loving nature has set him on the path of making a difference in the lives of his community and loved ones. His life goal is to reach beyond the stars to obtain success no matter the circumstances. He has always been determined to beat any obstacles placed in his journey.
As a scholar athlete, Dillon has earned a 4.21 GPA, which includes 21 college credits during his high school career. To match his academic achievements, he has actively participated in various extracurricular activities which includes being a member of the National Honor Society, the National Beta Club, the Student Government Association, Senior Class Council, HCCHS Jaguar Basketball Team and a host of other activities. He has had active roles in several community organizations and activities.
He served as a Page for Representative Bryant Clark at the State Capitol and he was selected as the Boys and Girls Club of the Mississippi Delta, “Youth of the Year”, for two consecutive years for community service performed. In his senior year, he was selected “MVP” of his team and was also named “1st Team All District”.
After much planning and inspiration from his mother, Ms. Keisha Jennings, his principal Mr. Antwayn Patrick and the remarkable support from family and friends, Dillon has decided to attend Jackson State University to pursue a career in civil engineering. Lastly, he leads his life by Psalms 37:23 which reads, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and He delighted in his way.”
DeUndra J. Wilson
DeUndra J. Wilson is the proud daughter of Ms. Denise Crockett and Mr. DeUndre Wilson of Tchula, MS. Throughout her high school journey, she has participated in the Student Council, Yearbook Club, National Beta Club, Rotary Interact and Student Government Association. In addition to her in-school activities, DeUndra has taken part in several programs, including serving as a page for Representative Bryant Clark, UMMC’s Mosaic program, AP Physics camp, and various summer bridge programs. This year, she had the opportunity to complete work-based learning at UMMC through Holmes County Central High School, which helped her gain practical experiences in the field of nursing.
Upon graduation, DeUndra plans to enroll in Holmes Community College to major in nursing. She plans to become a pediatric nurse. After obtaining her associate degree in nursing, she intends to pursue her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Once she completes her education, her goal is to help bring affordable medical services and equipment to her hometown, as well as open a community learning center to provide youth with access to resources and opportunities.
This is her way of giving back to the community that supported her growth. In her eyes, the sky is the limit, and anything is possible with hard work. She lives by the saying, “Dream until it becomes your reality.”

After graduation, he plans to pursue a career as a financial analyst. He lives by the saying, “You don’t get what you dream of; you get what you work hard for.”
