PARISH SIGNS WITH HCC
Daynie Parish, a senior at Central Holmes Christian School, has been chosen to the 2025-2026 Holmes Community College Cheerleading Team. Daynie is the daughter of Jason and Candice Parish of Lexington and the granddaughter of Maria Edwards of Lexington and the late Dan Edwards, and Alan and Carol Parish of Gallatin, Tennessee, and the late Sandy Gabriel of Cody, Wyoming. Daynie ran cross country and track, played softball, and was a cheerleader since 6th grade. Daynie also played basketball since the 7th grade. Her current CHCS cheer sponsor is Amber McBride. Former sponsors include Karey Johnson and Kristie Marshall. Nikki Edwards is the CHCS girls cross country, basketball, and track coach. In addition, Daynie’s CHCS softball coach is Tony Terry.
