TROJANS STATE GOLF CHAMPIONS

The Central Holmes Christian School Trojans just wrapped up their second state championship in the past three years. They won 3A in 2024, were 3A runner-up in 2025, and won 2A April 20 at Morehouse Country Club in Bastrop, Louisiana. The Trojans were led by Low Medalist, Preston Carnathan, who shot an even par 72 and second Low Medalist, John Franklin Johnson, who shot a 74. The Trojans defeated Benton Academy, Deer Creek, Canton Academy, and Prairie View Academy on way to their championship. East Mississippi signee, Preston Carnathan, and Jon Langford will be graduating this year leaving the Trojans to fill in the gaps with returning players Wilkes Rutledge, John Franklin Johnson, Chance Langford, Tanner McAdams, BB Langford, Drew Durff, Hayson McNeer, and Wayland Fancher.
