It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brock Holden Peacock, who left us far too soon on July 12, 2024, at the age of 34. Brock was born on June 29, 1990, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, to Alice Edwards Peacock and William Edward Peacock. He was survived by his beloved wife Paulina Noto Peacock and his beautiful daughter Avery Ann Peacock. He was also survived by his grandmothers Shirley Peacock of Acona, MS and JoAnn Peacock of Gulfport, MS. Brock was proceeded in death by maternal grandparents James and Nancy Mitchell Edwards of Kosciusko, MS and paternal grandfather Bob Peacock of Acona, MS.
Brock’s life was defined by his deep love for the outdoors and his cherished family. An avid hunter and fisherman, Brock found solace and joy in nature’s embrace. His happiest moments were spent alongside his wife, Paulina and their daughter, Avery. Brock was a devoted father who adored Avery beyond measure. He was always there for her, guiding her with love, patience, and unwavering support. His love for Avery was evident in every smile and every shared adventure, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Brock’s bond with his brother, Brandon Peacock, was unbreakable, and his nephew, Blake, held a special place in his heart.
On July 12, 2024, Brock was tragically taken from us when a tree fell on his truck while he was driving down the highway, less than a mile from his beloved grandmother Shirley Peacock’s home—the place he cherished most. Brock’s vibrant spirit and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew him. His legacy lives on through the cherished memories shared by his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A memorial service to celebrate Brock’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 16th at 12 PM at the Southern Funeral Home in Lexington, Mississippi. There will be a graveside service immediately following the visitation at 2 PM at Acona Cemetery in Acona, Mississippi.
