HENRY RALPH ALEXANDER
September 10, 1945 – March 24, 2025
Henry Ralph Alexander, 79, passed away on March 24, 2025, at the Attala County Nursing Center in Kosciusko after a long battle with dementia.
Visitation was Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Culpepper Funeral Home in Kosciusko from 11:00 am until the service at 12:00 noon in the Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. James Culpepper officiated. Interment was at Musselwhite Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tony Holder, James Caleb Holder, Kyle Rucker, Guy Marrone, Matthew Pittman and Taylor Musselwhite.
He was born September 10, 1945, the third child of Lewis Melvin Alexander and Mattie Leona Cox Alexander, in the Emory Community of Carroll County. Ralph was taught at an early age the love of God, family, land and farming.
In 1967, Ralph married his college sweetheart, Mary Anne Hamilton, and they live in Lexington, Mississippi, for the next 52 years, before moving back to the Springdale Community in Attala County in 2019 where they enjoyed county life. Ralph’s favorite pastime was being on a tractor in the woods or talking to family and friends. He never met a stranger. He was a member of Springdale Baptist Church. He was retired as a Store Manager with AmeriGas Propane Company.
Preceding Ralph in death are his parents; his brother, William Louis Alexander and wife, Lucy Dickerson Alexander; his sister, Miriam Alexander Turbeville and husband, George W. Turbeville, Jr.; his brother, David Samuel Alexander, and wife, Judith Smith Alexander; his parents-in-law, Claudie Hamilton and Merle Thornton Hamilton; sister-in-law, Betty Sue Hamilton, and three special nieces.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne Hamilton Alexander; daughter, Lisa Dawn Alexander Rogers (Ray) of LaGrange, GA; son, Henry Ralph Alexander, Jr. (Ashley) of Gluckstadt; granddaughter, Alexandria Morgan Rogers of LaGrange, GA; uncle, James A. Cox of Vaiden; sister-in-law, Jean Hamilton Patrick (Tommy) of Richland, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Springdale Baptist Church, 28314 Attala Hwy 19, West, MS 39192.
