Benny Earl Simmons, my beloved father, was made of music in his soul. A natural artist. He lived a long adventurous life. He was an accomplished singer, song writer, and guitarist. He was a patient teacher. He loved his dogs Scooter, JoJo, and Buddy, and his family with all his soul. He was a great painter and artist of many mediums. He was an athlete. He logged with his brothers during his younger years. He was handsome, a sharp dresser, and always made everything around him more beautiful. He was a gentleman, a loving father, and a good man.
He will take his final ride home to Mississippi to be laid to rest alongside his family. This is not Goodbye mi amore’ but until we meet again on that fine day.
Cremation and arrangements are under the care of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas
