SANDRA LYNN “SANDY” FERRELL MCBRIDE GILBERT

Sandra Lynn “Sandy” Ferrell McBride Gilbert, 57, passed away surrounded by her loving family at her home in Lexington, Mississippi on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Sandy as she was know by family and friends was born in Lexington, Mississippi on November 14, 1967. She is now at peace after a battle with cancer in the loving arms of her heavenly father.
She leaves behind her ex-husband and best friend Jesse Gilbert; her father Louis Ferrell; step-mother Judy Ferrell; her mother Beverly Steed Hathcock; step-father Billy Hathcock.
She also leaves her sons, Daniel Louis McBride (fiancee Mo’Nique Johnson) and Michael Cassey McBride (Hope); three granddaughters that she adored, Isabell Faith McBride, Elena Grace McBride, and Seirra Hope McBride; a grandson Houston Johnson; sister Tammy Tate Bufkin (Ronnie); a brother Scott Self (Connie); nieces, Dani Ramsey (Chandler) and Anna Self; nephews, Tanner Tate (Kylee) and Steven Self; two great nieces; and a great nephew.
There will be a private family service at a later date.
