DAISY MCKNIGHT MALONE
Daisy McKnight Malone, born on January 12, 1931, in London, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the age of 94.
Daisy was the beloved daughter of Walter McKnight and Dora Hall. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Gerald “Red” Malone, and a cherished mother to her daughters, Nancy Kimbrough and Joy Kellum (Marty). She was preceded in death by her daughter Judy Malone and son-in-law Perry Kimbrough.
Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Lisa Doss (Stanley), Ryan Kimbrough (Jennifer), Caleb Kellum (Mackenzie), and Danyelle Kellum, as well has her great-grandchildren, Taylor Kimbrough, Case and Hallie Rae Kellum. Daisy’s deep love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life, leaving an indelible mark on those she held dear.
A longtime member of Antioch Baptist Church, Daisy’s faith was the foundation of her life. Her dedication to her church community reflected her kind spirit and unwavering belief in the power of faith and fellowship. She found joy and purpose in serving others through her devotion to God.
Daisy’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the pallbearers: Ryan Kimbrough, Stanley Doss, Caleb Kellum, Donnie Gantt, Gerald Malone, and Lessley Malone. Honorary pallbearers include Bubba Stockton and the men of Antioch Baptist Church.
Special thanks are offered to the staff of Louisville Healthcare, Dr. Suttle and the staff at Louisville Medical Clinic, Quality Hospice Care, and the staff at West Point Hospital for their compassionate care and unwavering support during this time.
