MILDRED WILKINS BARRETT

Mildred Wilkins Barrett passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 11, 2025 at UMMC Hospital in Jackson. She was born on July 5, 1952.
She was the beloved sister to Ann Edwards and Auntie to nephew Toby Edwards (Kelly) and niece Adrienne Edwards Bryant (Donnie) and great nephews, Trace Edwards, Justin Edwards, Heath Edwards, and Conley Bryant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Jerry Wilkins and nephew J.J. Edwards.
Her devotion to God and power of faith led her to spread kindness to all that knew her.
She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Christmas was her favorite time of year for entertaining friends and family. She loved reading and her dog Ellie. She was mostly the best “Auntie”.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. at McLellan Wilkins Cemetery.
